Got the bag and was very excited. Looks great and the real deal. Shame it does not perform at all. After about a week the zip tags annoying started to come off. After about a month of putting my laptop, a bit of tupperware and bits of kit in there (nothing heavy, I was taking it to work everyday) it started falling apart - stitching coming loose, mess bit at the top of the bag between the sections all fraying. If you’re looking for quality, do not buy one of these.

Absolutely amazing backpack for anyone who loves fitness! Recommended to a multiple people as it is just fantastic! The customer service is also great. Very helpful. Would highly recommend, these are 10/10!

Perfect backpack for anyone into their fitness. It has absolutely everything you need and more. Recommended to a friend who is training for an Iron man triathlon and it’s the best he has come across. Customer service was fantastic too. I emailed the company before I bought mine to query the returns policy and they got back to me straight away and couldn’t have been more helpful. 10/10 and would definitely recommend.

Very shocked to see the bad reviews as I have had nothing but fantastic service and I am so pleased with the product! I bought the backpack as a present for my boyfriend and he loves it! I would 100% recommend. Thank you!

I have contacted this company numerous times regards a refund, also the fact they charge for returns, consumer rights state they must pay for at least standard return cost and within 14days. I am still waiting on the refund which has been 20 days so far they keep saying its being processed. The after service is horrendous the worst I have come across, it's non existent, no phone number. After reading trust pilot reviews it seems I'm not the only one. The next course you leave me literally with no choice but to contact the ombudsman to make official complaint because they don't seem to be concerned. Diabolical. I'm gonna set up a page seperate special for this criminals via Facebook Built For Athletes Complaints! They don't have a procedure we will make one for them!

I purchased the Black 45L Hero 2.0 Backpack late last year with some accessories.
One of the things I ordered was missing, and this was rectified and delivered two days later without a problem.
The bag is great and holding up fine. I noticed a lot of comments about cheaper knock-off versions on here....they all turn to dust. I've often had to use nylon thread to sew my own gear up...not with this one!

If you want a cool looking backpack that comes apart in less than a year under easy conditions, then the Builtforathletes Hero 2 backpack is for you. If you expect a legitimate company to NOT stand behind a product and NOT answer emails, you will love Builtforathletes. Sarcasm aside, I made a real mistake falling for this product. The best thing about this company is their marketing.

Utterly abysmal quality.
I ordered mine just before lock down but didn't get to use it straight away, after 4 months of use it's so called rip proof material has started tearing.
I contact customer service with pictures but because I had it for 6 months, I wasn't entitled to a refund or replacement, they even had the gaul to suggest I look at buying another one of their bags, I replied but heard nothing back, I didn't even receive a follow up to the customer service satisfaction questionnaire I filled out.
It seems that they don't care for statutory rights.
Do not buy from them, the bags are not fit for purpose, not waterproof and do not hold to the claims of durability on their website.

Poor quality. Too expensive. You can find the same Backpack on Alibaba for around 15 Dollars.

Was on the look for a new backpack. Had a BFA Hero in mind - looked pretty decent.
Read the reviews on here and other social media places about their questionable longevity. I even saw first hand how they were deleting negative comments ( saw post dissappear before my eyes)
Left a message asking whether they should be deleting honest reviews - I was then subsequently blocked.
I doubt they care they've lost one potential customer, especially when they buy up cheap bags and flog them at inflated prices to thousands of people, but glad I saw the true side to this company before parting with my money.

Order a backpack 1 month ago, they still havent shipped it, thou when i ordered they said 2 day shipping. Reached out to them two times since then first time took about 1 week the get a response, 2nd email over 1 week and still no response on shipping. Got tired of it and wrote on their Instagram and they blocked me there. So don't buy, they scam you.

Colour (green backpack) was vastly different to advertised. All images on site (including user submitted) were more faded. I was immediately offered a full refund. It's a shame as the bag was great!
